Accessible Communication

Health information through human conversation

Health information is often communicated through reports, websites and leaflets. These resources are important, but they do not always answer people’s questions, reflect their experiences or build the trust needed for meaningful engagement.

Each programme combines professional insight, lived experience and practical information. Complex issues are explored in clear language, with particular attention to health inequalities and conditions that disproportionately affect Black African and Caribbean communities.

More than an interview

  • Improve health literacy.
  • Amplify lived experience.
  • Build understanding and trust.
  • Address barriers to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support.
  • Extend selected conversations through audio, video and social-media content.
